Raj Kiran Kaur is an AHPRA-endorsed Nurse Practitioner and clinician educator whose professional identity is embedded equally in critical care practice and higher education. Across more than 15 years she has delivered specialist intensive care nursing at The Northern Hospital, Northern Health, accumulating over 6,800 verified hours of advanced practice while sustaining eight years of continuous nursing lecturing at RMIT University.
She holds dual Master of Advanced Nursing Practice degrees from the University of Melbourne, in the Nurse Practitioner and Critical Care Nursing streams, and is formally verified as competent across 17 specialist clinical procedures. Her work spans advanced critical care, clinical education, curriculum and OSCE design, clinical governance, and the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching.
As Chief Operating and Financial Officer of the CAQA Groups, she carries that clinical discipline into executive life: the same insistence on evidence, governance and quality improvement that defines her practice now underpins the operations and financial stewardship of a national education group.

Raj formulates, implements and evaluates nursing education objectives, policies and procedures; designs and quality-assures OSCE assessments for validity and fairness across cohorts; and coordinates clinical placement activities within a best-practice framework.
She applies simulation, scenario-based and case-based learning with blended delivery, integrates current clinical evidence into teaching, and mentors new graduate RNs in clinical reasoning and time-critical decision making — guiding students toward critical care specialisation and advanced practice pathways.
