  • Leads pre-discharge assessment of all ICU patients preparing for ward transfer, with ongoing post-discharge support and leadership in care delivery.
  • Responds to every Medical Emergency Team (MET) call, Code Blue, and REACH patient-carer escalation across the hospital, directing care during acute deterioration events.
  • Maintains comprehensive databases of MET and Code Blue responses, coordinates TPN team monitoring, and generates reports for ICU senior leadership.
  • Provides referral services across medical, nursing, and allied health for high-acuity patients, and serves as an active member of the Standard 8 Clinical Improvement Committee.
